An average adult swordfish can provide 80 five-ounce filets, and around half of those will be used by a single restaurant per day. This results in each restaurant that serves swordfish using around 3 swordfish a week. For every 3 driftnet-caught swordfish, one marine mammal is injured or killed—an unspoken price of dinner.
Constructed from 40 watercolor paintings adhered to a distressed melamine board. Once again, the repetition of the pattern is meant to build upon the repetition of the catch and consumption.
